Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We want you as a creative, innovative, CAD designer to help us in our mission by modelling the physical architecture of our current and future vehicles. You will be successful in this role if you are able to help us: ● To contribute to the definition of our overall vehicle architecture ● To contribute to the detailed definition of our vehicle Your main tasks are the following: To build the CAD physical model of the vehicles and their sub-systems on NX (or equivalent) and contribute to the choices in terms of overall architecture, aeroshape, equipment accommodation and main materials To maturate the CAD models by adjusting the architecture, accommodation, structure materials and thicknesses based on the outcomes of the thermo-mechanical computation loops and system trade-offs To collaborate closely with thermal and structural analysts, materials and manufacturing engineers to ensure compliance of the physical architecture with the mission environmen...
