Job description

Wood is recruiting a Production Technician on a core basis for Harbour Armada. This mobilises on a 2*2*2*4 rota from Aberdeen. Role Overview: o monitoring and operating equipment, o gathering data and maintaining records, o carrying out isolations and de-isolations as required, o preparation of work permits, o preparation of complex items of plant and equipment for maintenance, o preparation of complex items of plant and equipment for start of operations. (S)VQ Processing Operations: Hydrocarbons at Level 3 or other relevant apprenticeship, - Production technicians should have an overall working knowledge of plant, process and associated equipment for their specific industry. Responsibilities include: - Production technicians are also expected to identify production malfunctions or failures within the plant/process/equipment. - Carry-out first-line corrections if required by role. - A production technician must be able to interpret Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&ID) drawings. - Production technicians should be fully familiar with and competent to operate essential safety equipment. - Production technicians should be able to undertake task-based risk assessments and mitigate...
