This position is 100% supported by the federal Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) grant. Supervises the work of the State Breastfeeding Coordinator and Breastfeeding Peer Counseling Coordinator and provides leadership, direction and support. Performs all supervisory duties including, but not limited to, planning and directing staff’s work, hiring and selection, developing performance plans, conducting performance appraisals, approving leave, and taking disciplinary action as appropriate.
