Job Details Kettering College| Kettering| Full Time| Days Responsibilities & Requirements: The Chair of the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences (HSS) is responsible for the General Education courses offered by the college as it educates the program and biology students in their pursuit of degrees they seek. This requires managing course offerings, course content, Bulletin copy, as well as the various faculties (including English, Religion, Psychology, Sociology, as well as adjunct history and art faculty) that make up HSS. The chair must also meet with the committees to which they are assigned in the governance structure of the college. Above all, the functioning of the department must advance institutional mission and goals in collaboration with all other college departments and programs. Performs other duties as assigned.
