Position Summary The Fetal Care Physician’s responsibilities will include a combination of administrative, clinical, research and educational duties. The Physician is responsible for evaluation and treatment of fetal patients. They will participate in team meetings, rounds, as well as have a broad multidisciplinary relationships with the fetal care team, neonatal intensivists, maternal fetal medicine specialists as well as anesthesiologists. The Physician will be responsible for fostering an environment of professionalism and enhancing growth and education in fetal care. This position will report directly to the Division Chief of Fetal Care and Surgeon in Chief. Role Responsibilities: - Assess, evaluate, diagnose and treat fetal anomalies. - Performs and/or orders clinically appropriate procedures for each patient. - Analyze medical histories, diagnostic lab test and x-ray results, clinical examinations and perform physical examinations in formulating a diagnosis, plan of care and documenting in conformity with applicable professional standards, third party payer requirements and the Division’s policies and procedures. - Provide exceptional health care delivery to fetal patients fo...
