Position Summary: Provides visionary, strategic and technical leadership while directing Xcel Energy's Substation Commissioning Engineering activities for control and protection systems for high voltage substations. Accountable for providing resident technical matter expertise and real-time technical support to construction, maintenance and operations teams for high voltage substations. Manages the development of best-practice commissioning procedures and practices. Accountable for assigned portions of Xcel Energy NERC/FERC compliance responsibilities, goals and objectives related to system protection and CIP. Accountable for attainment of corporate and business unit goals and objectives. Committed to employee development.
