Overview: LPN / LVN – Coronary Care Unit (CCU) Location: Central Maine Medical Center, Lewiston, ME Full-time | Nights | 7p–7a | 12-Hour Shifts The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) provides direct and indirect patient care in a high-acuity Coronary Care Unit (CCU). Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), this role supports cardiac patient care, safety, and clinical outcomes while enhancing the patient experience. Responsibilities: - Provide bedside patient care and monitor vital signs and cardiac status - Assist with medication administration, IV therapy, and blood draws - Collaborate with RNs and care teams on treatment plans - Ensure patient safety, infection control, and protocol compliance - Document care in EMR/EHR systems - Report changes in patient condition promptly Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING: 1.
