About the role As a Policy Officer, you will work in a dynamic team delivering policy and projects that support Tasmania’s environmental and natural resource management priorities. You will contribute to high-impact work that helps protect and sustain the state’s unique natural values through evidence-based policy and collaboration. In this role, you will: There are two permanent positions available, based in Hobart. - Contribute to the development, review and implementation of environmental projects, policy and legislation. - Undertake detailed research and analysis to inform advice and decision making. - Provide clear, well-informed advice on policy options, programs and processes. - Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across government, industry and community. - Prepare high-quality documentation including briefs, reports, submissions and communication materials. Hours per fortnight: 73.50 hours per fortnight (minimum 58.80 hours, by negotiation).
