Salary Range: $97,159.89-$145,000.00: General Description and Classification Standards: The Deputy Controller is responsible for the day-to-day management of key operational areas within the Controller’s Office, including Financial Reporting, Grants Accounting, General Accounting, Accounts Payable, and Payroll. This position ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations and reporting, and provides oversight to ensure strong internal controls and operational efficiency. This is a senior management role that reports directly to the Controller and supports strategic initiatives while ensuring execution of core accounting functions. Supervision Received: The direction received is very general and focuses on strategic objectives and is typically collaborative in nature. This is a policy-making level of management and would be considered "upper middle" management. The position reports to the Controller.
