Summer Sports Camp Staff - Athletics (Multiple Positions)

Job description

The Athletics Department at the University of Southern Maine is seeking staff for their summer sports camp program. We are seeking energetic camp staff to provide a safe and memorable experience for our campers. The staff will be responsible for coaching/teaching the campers in the chosen sport. The ideal candidate will be an excellent multitasker with a genuine passion for working with, and empowering, young campers. Applicants should be patient, fun-loving and confident in their ability to motivate and assist campers. Summer Camp Staff responsibilities and duties: - Working under the camp director you will perform various duties throughout the week of camp involving teaching the fundamentals of the sport to campers. - Four-day camp located on the Gorham Campus - Camp hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm, with some additional hours for pre-camp meetings and post-camp wrap up.
