Description The position of YDP Support Specialist is responsible for supporting & filling in where needed. The YDP Support Specialist will support in planning, implementing, and evaluating program outcomes in the core areas of academic and career success, health and recreation activities, character and leadership development, the arts, and specially targeted programs. In addition, the position also provides supervision and promotes engagement of club members, and ensures a safe and supportive environment for club members by promoting positive relationships. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Contributes to the creation of the Club’s overall climate for youth development and success. - Plans and implements activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in our program. - Monitors Club for safety at all times: checking blind spots, monitoring hallways, mitigates cleaning hazards, monitors chemicals housed in building. - Assists YDPs, volunteers, and other staff is meeting organizational goals, assisting in supervising programs and members, and providing support in various areas based on need. - Recognize which areas need support and proactively fillin...
