Status Part-Time Standard Hours per Week: 36 Job Posting Category: Nursing: Job Posting Description: Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced RN to join our Pediatric ICU Float pool to meet the ever-changing staffing needs across the Critical Care and Cardiovascular programs. Key Responsibilities: Minimum Qualifications Education: Experience: - Providing competent nursing care to critically ill patients (newborn – adult) and their families across all 4 ICUs (Medical ICU, Medical/Surgical ICU, Neonatal ICU and Cardiac ICU). - Delivering family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team. - Working in a fast paced, collaborative environment with many opportunities for learning and career growth with comprehensive orientation to meet individual needs. - Opportunities to be involved in hospital wide committees and to precept new staff and nursing students. - 24, 30, 36 or 40 hours available; orientation at 36 hours. - A bachelor's degree in nursing - A minimum of 1-year, pediatric ICU RN experience required with a wide range of diagnoses preferred. - Ability to work 50% Day/Night rotations, every third weekend, and flexibility of availability required.
