Position Description: The USAID Office of the General Counsel (OGC) serves as the Agency's Chief Legal Office, providing advice on legislative, administrative, and program matters. OGC represents USAID in legal matters, including administrative and litigation, congressional investigations, and interagency legal coordination. Scope of Work: The position requires deep expertise in statutory and regulatory interpretation, federal labor and administrative law, and policy development. The Senior Lawyer supports the Office of the General Counsel in providing authoritative legal opinions on complex or sensitive matters and in offering strategic guidance on legal risk management and compliance.
