🤸 Gymnastics Mentee (Volunteer) Based at YMCA Bankstown City, you’ll learn in a supportive, high‑energy gym environment where beginner coaches are nurtured, supported and set up for a future in gymnastics. 🌟 What you’ll do 🎓 The Mentee Program 🚀 What you’ll gain - Assist with gymnastics classes under the guidance of an experienced mentor coach - Help set up equipment and ensure a safe learning environment for children - Learn correct coaching techniques, class control and lesson planning - Build confidence communicating with gymnasts, parents and other coaches - 12‑week volunteer mentor program designed to support and challenge new coaches - Holistic development including communication skills, confidence and teamwork - Learn alongside experienced coaches while completing mentor‑set tasks and workshops - Support to work towards your gymnastics coaching qualification - A potential pathway to Assistant Gymnastics Instructor roles for successful mentees - Real experience in a positive, values‑led sporting environment ✅ We’re looking for people who are: 🛡️ Safeguarding matters The YMCA is committed to the safety and wellbeing of children and young people.
