Job description

Summary of Position Manage donated clothing and items by sorting, pricing, and appropriately displaying items received. Lifting heavy boxes and picking up items at their location as needed. Must be able to operate an electronic cash register and accurately make monetary transactions. $12.42 per hour, 19 hours a week 201 Star St, Mankato, MN 56001 Qualifications: High school diploma, or general equivalence diploma (GED) and you must be at least 18 years of age. Possess an aptitude in both written and oral communication, be trustworthy, especially in confidential matters and be well organized and efficient. Helpful, courteous and respectful demeanor, with ability to work well with fellow employees and volunteers, take supervision from thrift store management and demonstrate concern for thrift store customers. The qualified candidate must be able to pass The Salvation Army’s clerical screenings and MVR drivers’ qualification.
