Description The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for residents, tenants, staff, and visitors in assisted living communities. This role includes routine and deep cleaning of resident rooms, tenant apartments, bathrooms, and all common areas. The Housekeeper ensures compliance with sanitation procedures, safety protocols, and proper chemical usage per SDS (Safety Data Sheets) standards. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sanitation & Environmental Cleanliness: - Perform cleaning tasks in resident/tenant apartments and rooms, including: - Deep cleans - Carpet vacuuming or shampooing - Mopping and sweeping floors - Dusting furniture and surfaces - Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, showers, and sinks - Garbage and clutter removal - Clean and disinfect common areas including lobbies, dining rooms, hallways, restrooms, and activity spaces. - Launder and maintain community linens as needed.
