Job Description The Protective Services Detail Manager (PSDM) serves as a shift-level tactical commander responsible for the execution, readiness, and oversight of all armed Protective Services operations. This position provides operational command leadership for all PSO classifications (PSO1, PSO2, and PSO3) and ensures consistent deployment, tactical alignment, and disciplined execution across assigned shifts. The PSDM is accountable for armed operational readiness, incident response coordination, and supervisory oversight through direct leadership of PSD Supervisors (PSDS). During critical incidents, this role may serve in a command or tactical leadership capacity depending on incident scope and complexity, ensuring alignment with established incident command structures and senior leadership direction. This position upholds a centralized, disciplined command structure, reinforces use-of-force governance, and ensures all operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements while maintaining Forbes Five-Star service standards in a high-risk, high-liability environment.
