Description Job Title: Athletic Trainer: Job Description: Summary: IBJI Certified Athletic Trainers (ATC) are an integral part of a fast-paced orthopedic practice that must excel in IBJI’s core values of patient-centric care, musculoskeletal care, and teamwork. The role of the ATC functions as a liaison between patients, athletes, physicians, physical therapists, and administration. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: providing superior care to patients and clients, providing athletic training coverage at various events, and educating the public on health-related awareness/prevention topics. All responsibilities should be performed while maintaining the highest standard of care and integrity in order to provide the best community experience possible. Responsibilities: - Promote and provide excellent patient care. - Develop positive relationships with the physician teams at IBJI. - Communicate with physicians, clinical staff, coaches and parents regarding patient conditions, plan of care, treatments, and protocols. - Develop rehabilitation and treatment regimens in conjunction with physician recommendations. - Proper referral of patients for appropriate diagnos...
