The Senior Assistant Director of Admission is a vital member of Davidson’s Office of Admission and Financial Aid and plays a crucial role in identifying, attracting, and enrolling the best and brightest students from across the country and the world. This position also plays several key support roles related to all aspects of the work, from recruitment and outreach to territory management and yield. Position Summary: The Senior Assistant Director of Admission will be responsible for conducting information sessions for campus visitors, evaluating applicants for admission, and managing all recruiting aspects of an assigned territory which will include traveling to college fairs, high school visits, and other regional events. They will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with prospective students and their families, high school counselors, community-based organizations, and campus partners. They must possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, work independently and collaboratively, and maintain a strong attention to detail.
