Overview Department: Specialty Pharmacy: Schedule: Full Time Monday through Friday 8a-4:30p Facility: Prime Resurrection Medical Center (but must be able to go to our other Chicago area hospitals for training) Location: 7447 West Talcott Ave, Chicago, IL 60631 Responsibilities: The Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician reports to the Ambulatory Pharmacy Technician Supervisor and plays a key role in the ambulatory pharmacy space, including referral based HOPD pharmacist managed clinics, specialty pharmacy, and population health pharmacy services. The technician will be responsible for assisting with prior authorizations, scheduling patients for appointments, resolving billing rejections, helping patients navigate insurance coverage, and facilitating financial assistance through eligibility screenings and supporting documentation. They will maintain accurate records of patient interactions within the EMR system. Qualifications: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING: Required qualifications: 1. High school diploma or equivalent 2.
