Job description
The Summer Employment Opportunity Program (SEOP) provides temporary summer employment opportunities to children, step-children and spouses of Mayo Clinic employees enrolled in a college degree granting program of study, and is intended to help supervisors accommodate employee vacation requests when seasonal work volumes are high. The Summer Student Grounds Helper will assist the groundskeeping crew push mowing, trimming, edging, trash removal, as well as various other tasks. SEOP employees should not expect vacation/days-off to be approved during their commitment. - Must be a child, step-child, or spouse of a current Mayo Clinic employee. - Must be currently enrolled in a degree granting program. - Must be returning to college in the fall. - Must be able to work a minimum of 10 weeks. - Must be 18 years of age or older by the start of the program Why Mayo Clinic: Mayo Clinic is top-ranked in more specialties than any other care provider according to U.S. News & World Report.
