Overview POSITION TITLE (Oracle title): SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST: WORKING TITLE: Assessment Team Speech Pathologist: SCHOOL/DEPARTMENT: Office of Early Learning: LOCATION: Crossroads II, Cary, NC: PAY GRADE: Speech-Language Pathologist and Audiologist Salary Schedule FLSA STATUS: Exempt: ELIGIBILITY FOR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT: Yes: WORK WEEK SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday (occasional evenings and weekends) Position is eligible for hybrid telework workweek POSITION PURPOSE: Serves as a critical member of multidisciplinary evaluation teams and service provider teams in supporting speech/language/communication needs of preschool students. Provides high quality specialized assessment and instruction, implementing Individual Educational Plans (IEP) to young children with disabilities in their least restrictive environment. Maintains confidentiality and complies with all federal, state, and local laws, regulations, guidelines, and procedures as they relate to the special education program throughout the district.
