Overview The Vision Field Application Engineer (FAE) is a cornerstone of technical support and technical development for the Imaging Business Unit (IBU). Proactively supports organization's standard and custom machine vision and imaging products by interacting with established customers & developing new prospects. Has an in depth knowledge of industries using industrial imaging technologies. Applies a broad knowledge of the organization's services, products and marketing techniques to close sales and capture market share. Activities are primarily carried out within a defined territory, region or area. Responsibilities: - Develops and owns relationship with key, regional imaging/vision customers and partners - Supports the development of imaging customers with regional sales and BD - Identifies new opportunities and trends in imaging - Maintain and develop the “Solution Center” regional and support expansion globally - Provide onsite training for specific customers and organizations - Visits existing and potential customers to address customer needs, identify requirements & key contacts, deliver sales presentations and develop business relationships. - Interacts and co-ordinates act...
