Maintenance Planner

Job description

The Role: The Maintenance Planner reports to the Maintenance Manager and develops accurate job plans for each scheduled job including parts, labor, and instructions, to ensure safe and efficient maintenance to support the plant's production capabilities and the completion of capital projects. You will also determine the appropriate maintenance work to schedule through proactive communications with maintenance planning prioritizing the highest value or most critical work. You will coordinate the timing of all required resources, both internal and external, maximizing resource allocation and minimizing equipment downtime. How You Will Make an Impact: Ensure planning activities are aligned with EHS compliance requirements Develop work packages and templates for maintenance jobs to allow efficient scheduling, assignment and execution of maintenance work Create and issue preventive/predictive maintenance work orders and inspection routes Review work requests with Production to identify all potential issues/reduce added scope Maintain accurate equipment specifications, info, parts lists (BOMs), and equipment maintenance history in ERP/CMMS and SAP Plan spare parts usage including quantit...
