Practice Even before opening the doors of the Animal Medical Center of Troy, MO in the spring of 2000, our goal was to practice the best possible veterinary medicine while fostering a friendly environment with a highly knowledgeable staff. Today, we have more than achieved that goal. What began as a small practice with one veterinarian and only a few exam rooms has now been transformed into an 8,600 square foot facility with two full-time doctors offering everything from routine wellness care to state-of-the-art diagnostics, surgery, cancer care, and even laser therapy. More about the Role: Reporting into the Practice Manager, the Kennel Assistant provides care to address the needs of patients that are visiting the practice for grooming and / or boarding. The Kennel Assistant ensures that the boarding area is clean and safe for all patients by cleaning cages, runs, and ward areas and washing laundry. The Kennel Assistant walks, feeds, and administers medication to patients (as needed and supervised by Doctor or Technician and based on confidence and experience).
