Job description

The Accounting Associate plays a key role in ensuring the financial accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency of the Fixed Base Operation (FBO). This position is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of all required FBO accounting activities, including fuel management, reconciliations, and reporting. The role also provides administrative and coordination support to local leadership and other functional teams as needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. - Accurately process fuel orders into the Fuel Management System (FMS) and/or AS/400 (accounting system). - Coordinate the collection, collation, and entry of fuel tickets and related documentation. - Record daily ending inventories and generate daily fuel close reports within FMS. - Reconcile fuel transactions, identify and resolve variances, and ensure adherence to internal financial controls. - Support the completion of required financial reports, audits, and reconciliations for the FBO. - Maintain documentation and compliance in accordance with company financial policies and procedures. - Provide administrative support to local leadership as needed, including handling correspondence, scheduling, and repor...
