Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Corporate Counsel. The Corporate Counsel operates out of the corporate headquarters in Research Triangle Park, NC. This position reports directly to the Deputy General Counsel. The primary responsibilities of this position include managing corporate governance for the company’s foreign subsidiaries, maintaining, and advising employees about the company’s delegation of authority, and assisting with matters for the Finance, Treasury and Tax departments. The role will also support operations in Latin America (drafting and negotiating contracts with customers and business partners and advising on local laws). We are seeking someone with 3-5 years of experience as a licensed lawyer in North Carolina. The TGCS Legal Department is comprised of generalists that work seamlessly as a unit. Each lawyer in our department is assigned responsibility to support multiple functional areas and senior executives in our company, but as needs arise, we work together to solve problems and facilitate company objectives.
