Sorting Room Worker-NE_TS Warehouse-499 Position: Sorting Room Worker: Employer: Salvation Army Family Thrift Store Minimum Qualifications: Must have a GED or high school diploma One year experience working in a warehouse preferred, Or any equivalent combination of training and experience providing the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Valid Texas state driver’s license. Or Texas state identification card. Physical Requirements: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform continuous walking, stooping, standing, and some climbing. Duties are usually performed standing. Above moderate physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, bending, reaching, twisting, pushing, pulling, and carrying moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) frequently. Working Conditions: Work is performed in a Store where there are some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather, or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
