40% – Football Student-Athlete Healthcare & Risk Management Oversee the healthcare of football student-athletes, within the USF Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. This includes but is not limited to- evaluations, emergency care, injury/illness care/treatments, rehabilitation, event medical coverage. This person will provide risk management strategies to ensure health and safety of the student-athletes while minimizing risk to the university. Provides leadership, guidance and assisting the Director of Athletic Medicine within the Division of Athletic Medicine 25% – Provider Coordination & Direct Patient Care Manage provider visits, communication between providers and patients, as well as setting up tests and rehabilitation visits. Direct patient care when needed based on practices, games, and travel schedules for football needs. Works with the director to ensure the medical football student-athlete policies and procedures are up to date and applied appropriately. 20% – Supervision of Athletic Training Staff (Football) Oversight of athletic trainers for the sport of football.
