Responsibilities: Produces, reviews, proofs, and delivers translations of hospital documents such as medical record forms, patient education materials, and marketing materials from English into the target language as assigned by the coordinator. Qualifications: REQUIRED:1. Demonstrated proficiency in English and the target language 2. Demonstrated superior knowledge of medical vocabulary in the source and target languages 3. Training and/or certification in foreign language translation 4. Two (2) years' experience translating, proofreading, and editing medical materials from English to the target language 5. Demonstrated understanding of and adherence to the American Translators Association (ATA) Code of Ethics and Professional Practice 6.
