JOB SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS: Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities: - Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy program. - Must be on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (T), and Iowa Department of Public Health Permit to Practice. - Child and Dependent Adult Abuse Mandatory Reporter Training is required within 6 months of hire and every 3 years thereafter. - Knowledge of current IDPH regulation. - Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) required. New employees certify within three (3) months after hire date. - Previous clinical experience preferred. - Valid driver’s license when driving any vehicle for work-related reasons. - Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. - Must be able to work under pressure due to fluctuating workloads and deadlines. - High degree of empathetic listening, tact and kindness toward others. - Ability to communicate well verbally. Must work effectively as a member of a team. - Strong computer knowledge. - Technical skills associated with duties listed within this job description. Must be competent in all assigned areas. - Must demonstrate collaborative and problem-solving skills as required for this position.
