Description The Department of Engineering and Mathematics at the University of Washington Bothell invites applications for a teaching faculty position at the rank of Lecturer Part Time (multi-year), with an anticipated start date of September 16, 2026. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a part-time basis with a base load of 55.55%, with potential for up to 88.89% depending on curricular need, for a 9-month service period. The position has an expectation of teaching between five courses (with the potential to increase up to eight courses depending on need) in the three quarters of the regular academic year. Positions in this title are non-tenure track, non-voting, and non-promotable. Appointments in these positions may be for multiple years (1-5 years), with an anticipated initial appointment of one year. Reappointments are contingent upon instructional needs, performance, and funding.
