Job Category: Nursing - Registered Nurse Work Shift/Schedule: 12 Hr Morning - Evening Northeast Georgia Health System is rooted in a foundation of improving the health of our communities. About the Role: Job Summary Neuro/Medical is a 36-bed Neuro medical and Intermediate Care nursing unit. As a mixed Neuro unit, care is rendered to a variety of intermediate care neuro patients and standard acute neuro patients including but not limited to: - Lower to high acuity ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke patients - Patients post 25-hour from thrombolytic treatment - Patients requiring continuous EEG monitoring - Patients with other neurological disorders such as Guillain-Barre’ Syndrome, Myasthenia Gravis, and ALS - Patients with hemodynamic instability needing antiarrhythmic - Chest tube care and management - Epidural/PCA management - Tracheostomy care Minimum Job Qualifications: Licensure or other certifications: Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia.
