LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist Float to join our team in based in Somerset, Kentucky to cover southeastern and central Kentucky Work Schedule: 8 hour shift Monday – Friday between 8:00a.m. – 5:30p.m. with rotating Saturdays. This is a full time position working 40 hours per week. Job Responsibilities: Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc. Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen information logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Administrative and clerical duties as necessary Travel to additional sites when needed Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: 4 years or more of phlebotomy experience in an outpatient lab setting Additional Job Standards: In lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency Proven track record in providing exceptional cust...
