POSITION SUMMARY: The Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist works under general supervision to perform moderate and high complexity laboratory procedures involving a high degree of independent judgment. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: ◦ Applies to technologists with fewer than three (3) years of generalist experience ◦ Includes all part-time technologists - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Medical Technology program or a bachelor’s degree in chemical or biological sciences, required - Completion of clinical training through an accredited Medical Technology program, required - Prior experience in a clinical laboratory setting, preferred, especially within a medical group environment WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, four ten-hour days with rotating day off, 8:30AM - 6:30PM.
