School Psychologist

Job description

We are looking for a talented School Psychologist to cover Maternity Leave. Hourly Rate Range: $45.00-$60.00 per hour - In-person School Psychologist - Elementary/MS - 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM Responsibilities would include: - Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, and social-emotional needs. - Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. - Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and behavior. - Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to develop intervention strategies. - Participate in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and crisis intervention as needed. - Maintain confidential records and documentation in compliance with Michigan Department of Education (MDE) and IDEA guidelines. - Provide training and consultation for staff on mental health, behavior management, and student wellness.
