Job description

This outpatient General Orthopedic APP role is a 100% patient-facing position based in Colonial Heights, offering a Monday–Friday schedule with only occasional Saturday coverage approximately four times per year. The team is seeking an experienced FNP or PA with orthopedic, ED, urgent care, or related musculoskeletal experience, though strong new graduates with orthopedic clinical rotations will also be considered. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP- NP, PA) provides high-quality medical and/or surgical patient care. This position provides care to patients with acute and chronic complaints in collaboration with the Attending Physician. The Advanced Practice Provider provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or preventive healthcare service on a Collaborative APP/Physician team. The Advanced Practice Provider may perform any or all of the following: histories and physicals; order and interpret tests; make diagnosis; treat injuries/illness; assist with surgical procedures; counsel patient and/or prescribe medication and those invasive procedures defined by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
