Buyer American Products | Strafford, MO American Products is seeking a Buyer to support our manufacturing operations through effective sourcing and purchasing of materials and services. This role partners closely with operations and suppliers to ensure quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. What You’ll Do: - Create and manage purchase orders to support production needs - Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers - Analyze pricing, proposals, and supplier data to ensure competitive costs - Track purchases, inventory levels, deliveries, and supplier performance - Support cost saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards - Collaborate with production, operations, and finance teams - Resolve vendor-related delivery, quality, or service issues What You Bring: - High School Diploma required - 2+ years of purchasing or procurement experience in manufacturing - Experience buying raw materials or production supplies preferred - 2+ years of ERP experience (Syteline a plus) - Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) - Detail-oriented, analytical, and solutions-focused mindset Additional Details:...
