Job description

The Departments of Radiology and Psychiatry are currently seeking a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to support ongoing multidisciplinary neuroimaging research projects exploring brain structure and neural network mechanisms underlying neuropsychiatric disorders, such as cognitive impairment and bipolar disorder. The successful candidate will develop and implement novel pulse sequences and reconstruction algorithms to improve the spatial-temporal resolution of dynamic MRI, thereby enhancing human brain imaging, particularly in cerebrovascular reactivity (CVR) mapping and functional MRI (fMRI). As a neuroimaging research fellow at Mayo Clinic, you will be working under the direct supervision and mentorship of Dr. Yuxiang Zhang, Ph.D., and Dr. Osama A. Abulseoud, MD. You will collect, process and analyze structural, diffusion tensor imaging and fMRI neuroimaging data with standard software such as AFNI, SPM, FreeSurfer, Matlab, and Python.
