Description Position Summary: The host will greet and seat guests as they enter the Fontana Restaurant. A host is also responsible for selling, and booking large party reservations for all Biltmore restaurant outlets. This position requires consistent adherence to policies and procedures of the department as outlined in the Biltmore Standard Operating Procedures (BSOP’S). Responsibilities: - Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies/service procedures/standards. - Maintain complete knowledge of correct maintenance and use of equipment. Use equipment only as intended. - Greet guests; acknowledge guests. - Anticipate guests’ needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, however busy and whatever time of day. - Maintain positive guest relations at all times. - Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of the restaurant.
