Corewell Health South is seeking a full-time Hospitalist to join our team in Southwest Michigan. Desire candidates who are patient-centered and team-oriented. Prefer board eligible/board certified in Internal Medicine. The Hospitalist Team provides 24/7 inpatient coverage at Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital St. Joseph and Corewell Health Niles Hospital. Block-style schedule with providers rotating seven (7) consecutive days on followed by seven (7) days off. Shifts are from 8:00am to 8:00pm, and 8:00pm to 8:00am. Epic electronic health record is used for documentation. Team includes adult medicine physicians and advanced practitioners, including dedicated nocturnists. Procedures available but not required. No intubation or vent management. Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital has a closed, 18-bed ICU and 12-bed progressive care unit with 24/7 intensivist coverage.
