Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Associate Medical Director for the CSU, performs a variety of duties involving patient care in the Crisis Care Center (CCC), primarily the CSU. Participates in interdisciplinary planning, care, and treatment of consumers served by the program. Functions as a liaison between program staff and psychiatrist, facilitating coordination of such services. May provide individual and/or group psychoeducation. Using nursing processes may diagnose and provide treatment to consumers for specific diagnoses. Responsible for carrying out all activities of the CSU in such a manner that fulfills CMHA-CEI’s mission, policies and procedures. Requirements: Master's Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree required. Possession of a State of Michigan license as a Registered Nurse required.
