Benefits: South Coast Winery is Seeking an experience, customer service oriented Tasting Room Wine Server. - Company parties - Employee discounts - Flexible schedule - Opportunity for advancement - Paid time off - Training & development - Wellness resources - Bonus based on performance - Competitive salary - Free uniforms Essential Duties Include: - Prepare designated bar for daily wine tasting and conduct tastings with guests guiding them on their selections and educating them about the varietals and styles of wine - Maintain the cleanliness of the counter areas, sinks and shelves at all times - Maintain honesty and integrity in the pouring of wines and ensure all tasting tickets are marked off appropriately - Use discretion when providing a “sixth” taste for guests as a tool for selling wine or wine club memberships - Alert bar backs when wine inventory is running low - Date all newly opened bottles and discard as instructed by management - Attend outside wine pouring events on behalf of South Coast Winery Resort & Spa as required - Promote the sale of South Coast Winery wine and Wine Club membership - Performs other duties as assigned by manager Compensation: $16.90 per hour: Es...
