Title: Executive Director State Role Title: Prog Admin Manager III Hiring Range: $115,000 - $135,000: Pay Band: 6: Agency: Dept of Prof & Occup Reg Location: DPOR Main Office: Agency Website: www.dpor.virginia.gov: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: This position will serve as Executive Director for the Board of Contractors, the Virginia Board for Asbestos, Lead, and Home Inspector, the Polygraph Advisory Board, Waste Management Facility Operators Board, and Board for Waterworks and Wastewater Works Operators and Onsite Sewage System Professionals. The Executive Director will manage all board operations and administrative activities necessary for licensing, case adjudication, legislation and regulation development, and program implementation. Minimum Qualifications: - Knowledge of administrative law, regulations, and the procedures associated with professional licensing, including methods of entry (experience, education, and examination); adjudication of licensing and disciplinary cases; and promulgation of regulations. - Ability to interpret law and regulation, to develop policies and procedures, and to implement legislation. - Ability to work independently, to super...
