Description Join an energetic, patient-focused team! MedStar Radiology Network is currently seeking an experienced Mammographer for a Full-time flex position at our outpatient imaging center located in Olney Maryland. The job is M-F 8:30 - 5:00 with occasional weekends as needed. This role will also include performing DEXA (bone density) scans. Dexa experience is preferred but not required as cross training will be provided for qualified candidates willing to expand their skillset. JOB SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Radiology Medical Director, the Mammography technologist: - Performs breast imaging procedures and related techniques, producing data at the request of and for interpretation by a licensed independent practitioner. - Ensures services are performed in a safe environment in accordance with established guidelines and regulatory requirements. - Serves as part of the imaging center team and seeks as well as provides feedback for improved clinical practice.
