Job Description Summary The Equipment Specialist (ES) reports directly to the Department Line Shift Supervisor and is responsible for performing routine set up, daily maintenance, and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment via manual or semi-automated means. The ES controls and adjusts machine setting, inspects in-process parts to ensure consistent quality and removes defective product, packaging, and component material. The ES Assists with root-cause analysis activities for process or product exceptions. They are also responsible for identifying and escalating any issues associated with the machine performance and/or product quality. Get certified and able to run all areas in Packaging (Boxer, Operator and utilities). And is able to move around pallets or bins approximately 400 pounds with the use of Manual or electric pallet jack.
