Terms of Employment: 11-month Exemption Status: Exempt EACC SALARY SCALE U11: https://www.ccboe.com/careers/salary-scales EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: - Master’s degree - Hold or be eligible for a Maryland Advanced Professional Certificate with an endorsement in Reading. - Five (5) years of satisfactory teaching experience - Must include a copy of your Advanced Professional Licensure To qualify for this area, candidates must also meet the following requirements: - Hold licensure in early childhood education, elementary education, special education, or a secondary education area* - Have a minimum of two (5) years of effective teaching experience - Have completed three (3) semester hours of special education coursework - Have completed twelve (12) semester hours of post-baccalaureate graduate credit in reading, including a foundation or survey course and a course in the diagnosis and correction of reading difficulties QUALIFICATIONS: - Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate instructional and curricular methodologies. - Knowledge of best practices in teaching reading, preferred. - Evidence of exemplary human relations skills - Ability to speak and write effectively. - Demonstrated ab...
