Electrical Engineer (Buildings) Role Overview: The Electrical Engineer supports the design and delivery of electrical building systems for commercial, institutional, and mixed-use projects. Working under the guidance of intermediate and senior engineers, this role contributes to the development of safe, reliable, and energy-efficient electrical systems throughout all project phases. This position is intended for early-career engineers developing independent technical capability within a consulting engineering environment. Key Responsibilities: - Support the design and layout of electrical building systems, including power distribution, lighting, emergency power, grounding, and low-voltage systems - Perform electrical load calculations and assist with preliminary system sizing - Prepare electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and schedules using Revit - Assist with lighting layouts and controls coordination - Support the preparation of engineering reports, specifications, and technical documentation - Coordinate electrical design inputs with mechanical, architectural, and structural disciplines - Review shop drawings, technical submittals, and RFIs with guidance from senior engin...
