Capital offers the ability to work on a wide variety of procurements, construction, leases, new equipment, repair materials, etc. Operating under the BIW Business Operating System (BOS), the Supply Chain Specialists ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards while coordinating with other key stakeholders to meet overall milestones. Manage leases for office, warehouse and parking lots; interact with landlords, property brokers and others to ensure compliance of obligations. Key Responsibilities: Safety Leadership: - Take personal responsibility for your own safety through hazard identification and mitigation. - Ensure practices/processes are safely executed while communicating any safety concerns and modeling safe behaviors. Project Execution and Continuous Improvement: - Combine project management, business, and legal expertise to draft, evaluate, negotiate, and execute procurement and contract documents, including, but not limited to, terms and conditions, contract closeouts, extensions, and modifications, with minimal oversight. - Coordi...
