Technician HVAC II 2025-2026 - ( 260000FI ) Description Job Overview The Technician HVAC II will service and diagnose large tonnage centrifugal chillers, air cooled and water cooled screw, scroll and reciprocating chillers, packaged rooftop units, split condensing/AHU systems, boilers, pumps, cooling towers and other HVAC system components. This incumbent is also responsible for troubleshooting and repairing all HVAC equipment for the District's campuses and offices and while ensuring their safe and efficient operation. Position Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Technical: - Service and change out motors, fans, exhausts and vent systems - Diagnose problems and repair equipment valves, chillers, boilers, traps, exchanger, radiators, regulators, pumps and pipes - Repair and calibrate variable frequency drives, connecting pipes, valves, dampers, actuators, air compressors and refrigeration dryers - Use electronic diagnostic equipment and measuring instruments; troubleshoot, test, locate and diagnose problems and defects in equipment - Replace defective components Safety and Inspection: - Inspect and check the operation of HVAC systems equipment on a regular basis - Pe...
